The best shower tub combo makes a small bathroom work harder, giving you a tub for baths and a shower for busy mornings. A shower tub combo project can mean replacing the whole tub and walls or simply upgrading the faucet set.
We compared eight products. Our quick verdict: the WOODBRIDGE direct-to-stud kit is the best complete tub-and-wall combo, the Delta Arvo 14 Series is the best faucet set, and the HOMGOO brushed gold system is the best all-metal rain set.
Best Shower Tub Combo: Top Picks Compared
Our top picks for shower tub combos are the WOODBRIDGE 60″W x 32″D Alcove Bathtub, the WOODBRIDGE 60×32 Four-Piece Direct-to-Stud Alcove, and the Delta Arvo 14 Series Matte Black Bathtub.
Pros
- Durable fiber-reinforced composite surface that resists scratches and stains.
- Easy to clean non-porous finish that prevents soap scum buildup.
- Quick installation in about one day compared to traditional tile.
- Integrated storage niches for convenient organization.
- Non-slip bottom adds safety in the shower.
Cons
- Some units arrive damaged due to shipping, requiring careful inspection upon delivery.
- Customer service may not honor warranty for Amazon purchases, as reported by one buyer.
- Limited customer reviews suggest potential quality control issues.
The WOODBRIDGE 60"W x 32"D Alcove Bathtub & Shower Kit (model BWP-6032-MW64+TB-6032-R) is a complete bathroom solution for homeowners looking to replace a tub and surround. It pairs a right-drain soaking tub with four solid surface wall panels, promising a modern, grout-free appearance. This kit is designed for alcove installations and is marketed as DIY-friendly, installable in about one day over existing tile or drywall.
Standout features include the fiber-reinforced composite material that resists scratches, stains, and impacts. The non-porous surface prevents mold and soap scum buildup, requiring only a wipe with mild cleaner. Integrated niches provide convenient storage without needing to cut into walls. The textured floor adds slip resistance, and finished edges on side panels eliminate extra trim.
Build quality appears solid in concept, but real-world feedback raises concerns. One customer reported arriving with a cracked panel, leading to project delays. When seeking a replacement, the company reportedly refused warranty coverage because the purchase was made through Amazon. This suggests potential issues with packaging and customer service consistency.
Drawbacks are significant: the risk of shipping damage and unreliable warranty support may outweigh the convenience of a one-day install. With only two reviews averaging low ratings, it is hard to gauge overall reliability. Buyers should carefully inspect upon delivery and consider alternative brands with stronger guarantees.
Verdict: The WOODBRIDGE alcove kit offers a sleek, low-maintenance design but is marred by reported quality control and support issues. It may suit budget-conscious DIYers willing to accept risk, but cautious shoppers should look elsewhere for a worry-free experience.

The WOODBRIDGE 60x32 alcove tub surround combo delivers a complete bathroom upgrade in one package. It pairs a left-drain soaking bathtub with a four-piece direct-to-stud wall panel kit, designed for a seamless drop-in installation. Ideal for homeowners looking to refresh a bathroom without the cost of tile or custom work.
The system stands out for its interlocking, caulk-free design when installed together. Panels align quickly and create a watertight barrier that keeps moisture out. The composite material is thicker than most market options, providing stability and long-term durability against scratches and impacts.
The tub base features a textured slip-resistant bottom, making it safer for kids, seniors, or anyone concerned about falls. Integrated wall niches keep shampoo and soap within easy reach, while the glossy, non-porous finish wipes clean with minimal effort.
Keep in mind that the drain and overflow assembly must be bought separately, and wall niches may require a wall opening depending on your bathroom's framing. The unit is also substantial at nearly 147 pounds, so having a second person during installation is advisable.
Overall, the WOODBRIDGE combo offers a practical, modern solution for a complete bath remodel. With a 10-year warranty and responsive US support, it balances style, safety, and value for DIY-minded homeowners. If you want a clean, grout-free look with minimal upkeep, this set is worth considering.

The Delta Arvo 14 Series Matte Black Bathtub Shower Faucet Set (model 144840-BL-I) is a stylish and functional upgrade for any bathroom. Designed for homeowners who want a modern look with practical features, this set includes the In2ition 2-in-1 dual shower head, a handheld spray, and a pressure-balanced valve. It's ideal for those seeking flexibility in their shower routine without sacrificing water efficiency.
Standout features include the In2ition technology, which lets you use the fixed shower head and handheld spray together or separately. The Touch-Clean spray holes make maintenance effortless by allowing you to wipe away calcium and lime buildup. The pause setting helps conserve water during tasks like shaving, while the pressure-balanced valve prevents temperature fluctuations from other water use in the home.
Design-wise, the matte black finish is both elegant and durable, passing rigorous salt fog testing for corrosion resistance. The 6-inch shower head provides good coverage, and the included MultiChoice valve allows future trim upgrades without wall alterations. However, some components are plastic, which may not feel as premium as all-metal alternatives, but they contribute to a lighter weight and easier installation.
Potential drawbacks include a relatively short handheld hose (some users wish it were longer) and a flow rate of 1.75 GPM, which is water-saving but might not satisfy those who prefer a more powerful spray. Overall, the Delta Arvo set offers excellent value with its combination of style, versatility, and ease of cleaning.
Verdict: This is a solid choice for anyone wanting a modern, functional shower system with a durable finish and smart features. Backed by a lifetime warranty, it's a reliable investment for your bathroom renovation or upgrade.

The Delta Arvo 14 Series with In2ition technology is a complete bathtub and shower faucet set that combines a fixed shower head with a detachable handheld spray. It is designed for homeowners who want the convenience of a handheld shower without sacrificing the look of a traditional fixed head. This set includes the valve trim, tub spout, shower arm, hose, and both shower heads, making it a comprehensive upgrade for any bathroom.
The standout feature is the In2ition 2-in-1 design, which allows you to use the fixed shower head and handheld spray together for full coverage, or separately for targeted rinsing. The four spray settings (full body, massage, full body with massage, and pause) provide a customizable experience. The pressure-balanced Monitor valve ensures water temperature stays consistent even when other appliances are running, a practical benefit for busy households.
Build quality is solid overall, though some users note that the hand shower docking mechanism feels plasticky and can be finicky to seat properly. The SpotShield brushed nickel finish does a good job resisting water spots, but fingerprints may still appear in areas that are touched frequently. The Touch-Clean nozzles are a nice maintenance perk, allowing quick removal of mineral buildup.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the included MultiChoice valve, which is compatible with many Delta trim kits. This means you can change the style of your shower later without tearing into the wall. Delta's Lifetime Limited Warranty and responsive customer service add to the value, as reflected in positive reviews about warranty claims.
Overall, the Delta Arvo 14 Series is a versatile and reliable choice for anyone looking to upgrade their shower with a dual-head system. While there are minor drawbacks in materials and docking feel, the combination of performance, convenience, and warranty support makes it a strong contender in its price range.

Pros
- Powerful water pressure boost ideal for low-flow homes
- Easy to install with included hardware and standard NPT threads
- Complete set includes all necessary components
- Stylish, modern design that elevates bathroom aesthetics
- Good value for the price based on customer feedback
Cons
- Not compatible with other brands' valves, requires full valve replacement
- Some users report the shower head tilt joint can loosen over time
- Nozzles may clog, requiring periodic cleaning
The MTTCLE 8-inch square rainfall shower faucet set is a complete shower upgrade kit designed for homeowners who want a spa-like experience without a major renovation. It is ideal for anyone looking to replace an outdated shower system with a modern, efficient fixture, especially those with low water pressure who desire a more invigorating shower.
Standout features include the air pressure technology that boosts water pressure by up to 100%, transforming a weak trickle into a satisfying downpour. Users rave about the rainfall sensation, comparing it to standing in a natural rainstorm. The single handle control simplifies temperature and flow adjustments, making it user-friendly for all ages.
The design is sleek and contemporary, with a polished chrome finish that resists water spots and complements most bathroom decors. The stainless steel construction feels durable, though the ball joint for tilting the head may loosen over time, as noted by some reviewers. The included rough-in valve and trim ensure a complete installation, but it is crucial to note that this kit is not compatible with other brands' valves, requiring removal of the old valve.
Installation is straightforward for DIY enthusiasts with basic plumbing skills, thanks to the standard 1/2-inch NPT connection. However, the need to replace the existing valve might be a drawback for some. Additionally, the nozzles can clog with hard water deposits, but they are easy to clean by pinching them to release buildup.
Overall, the MTTCLE shower system offers exceptional value for its price, delivering impressive performance and aesthetics. While it has minor quality quirks, the overwhelming positive feedback from users confirms its reliability and satisfaction. For those seeking an affordable, feature-rich shower upgrade, this set is a worthy investment.
Brand: MTTCLE
Model: M-SS-002C-XCS
Type: Bathtub & Shower Trim System
Finish: Polished Chrome
Material: Stainless Steel (head), Zinc (handle)
Shower Head Size: 8 inches square
Mounting: Wall Mount

Pros
- Premium all-metal build with no plastic in water pathways
- Spa-like rainfall spray with air-injection and self-cleaning nozzles
- Complete kit with handheld, tub spout, and valve, ready to install
- Fast-filling tub spout and standard connections for easy replacement
- Durable brushed gold finish resists scratches, tarnishing, and fingerprints
Cons
- Brushed gold finish may not match existing chrome or nickel fixtures
- Wall-mounted design requires standard 1/2-inch NPT rough-in plumbing, not for exposed or non-standard setups
- 10-inch head may feel large in small shower spaces
The HOMGOO brushed gold shower system is a complete wall-mounted trim kit that pairs a 10-inch rainfall head with a handheld sprayer and an oversized tub spout. It is designed for homeowners who want a luxury spa aesthetic and versatile showering options without paying luxury prices. The kit is well suited for bathroom remodels, new builds, or simple upgrades of existing fixtures.
The 10-inch rain head uses air-injection technology to mix 30% air into the flow, creating a pressurized, drenching spray that feels stronger than its 1.8 GPM rating. The 360-degree swivel joint with 25-degree tilt makes it easy to direct the water exactly where you need it. Users also benefit from 90 self-cleaning silicone nozzles that resist mineral buildup, so consistent spray performance is maintained over time.
All water pathways are made from solid brass and SUS304 stainless steel, with no plastic components, which is a major durability advantage in humid bathrooms. The brushed gold finish uses five-layer electroplating plus PVD coating and passes a 72-hour salt-spray test, resisting scratches and tarnishing. The 59-inch stainless steel hose adds flexibility, and the smooth diverter lever makes switching from tub spout to shower effortless.
The brushed gold color is a specific design choice, so it may not blend with existing chrome or nickel fixtures. Because this is a wall-mounted system with standard 1/2-inch NPT connections, it requires compatible rough-in plumbing; older or non-standard setups may need extra adaptation. Some smaller bathrooms may find the 10-inch head visually large, though it provides generous spray coverage.
Overall, the HOMGOO shower system offers an exceptional balance of style, durability, and functionality for the price. It comes with everything needed for installation, including the valve and trim, and delivers a genuinely spa-like experience. For anyone looking to upgrade their bathroom with a high-quality, all-metal fixture set, this is a reliable and attractive choice.
Brand: HOMGOO
Model: HG-5609BG
Color / Finish: Brushed Gold with PVD coating
Material: Solid brass and SUS304 stainless steel
Included Components: 10-inch rain shower head, handheld sprayer, 59-inch hose, 16-inch shower arm, tub spout, valve, trim kit, and mounting hardware
Connections: Standard 1/2-inch NPT
Flow Rate: 1.8 GPM (6.8 L/min), compliant with federal regulations
Mounting: Wall mounted with 1-handle operation
Before installing, confirm that your existing plumbing has 1/2-inch NPT connections and that the wall mounting location aligns with the valve and shower arm. The kit includes a pre-assembled valve with integrated shut-off stops, so you can isolate the water supply during maintenance.
Use thread seal tape on all connections and ensure the valve is oriented correctly before tightening. The 10-inch shower head can be angled up to 25 degrees with the swivel joint, and the handheld bracket can be positioned at a comfortable height for your family.
For best results, clean the brushed gold finish with a soft cloth and mild soap; avoid abrasive cleaners. The self-cleaning silicone nozzles will release mineral deposits if you wipe them while the water is running.
Pros
- Complete set with valve included, no need to buy separate components
- Durable 304 stainless steel construction
- Fingerprint-resistant matte black finish
- Standard NPT connections for broad compatibility
- Smooth single-handle control for easy temperature adjustment
Cons
- Requires checking existing plumbing dimensions and valve configuration before purchase
- 6 inch rain shower head provides smaller coverage than larger rain heads
- Matte black finish may show scratches if abrasive cleaners are used
The APROMOOM Tub Shower Faucet Set delivers a complete tub and shower upgrade in one box. This three piece kit includes a 6 inch rain shower head, a single-handle control, and a diverter tub spout, along with the necessary valve and trim. It is designed for homeowners who want a coordinated matte black look without hunting for separate components.
The standout feature is the included valve, which simplifies the installation process. Standard 1/2 inch NPT connections work with most existing plumbing setups, but you should verify your current valve configuration before ordering. The single-handle control provides smooth adjustment of hot and cold water, making everyday showers comfortable and convenient.
Build quality is solid for the price. The 304 stainless steel construction and durable inner structure are made to handle regular exposure to hot water and humid bathrooms. The matte black finish is the real highlight, as it resists fingerprints and water spots better than polished surfaces, while giving the bathroom a clean, modern look that fits contemporary, farmhouse, or industrial styles.
There are a few things to keep in mind. The 6 inch rain shower head offers a modest coverage area, so it may not provide the immersive rainfall experience of larger heads. Also, because this is a valve-included kit, checking your existing plumbing dimensions and valve configuration is essential to avoid installation issues. If you are not comfortable with DIY plumbing, professional installation is recommended.
Overall, the APROMOOM tub shower set offers great value for a complete bathroom update. It combines durable materials, an easy-care finish, and practical features at a price that is hard to beat. For anyone replacing an old tub and shower fixture, this kit is a smart choice.

Comparing the Picks
The WOODBRIDGE 60 by 32-inch alcove kit pairs a soaking tub with solid-surface walls. The WOODBRIDGE four-piece direct-to-stud alcove combo includes a left-drain tub and wall surround with no grout lines. The Delta Arvo 14 Series matte black faucet set adds a valve, shower head, and spout.
Standard Sizes
Most alcove tubs measure about 60 inches long and 30 to 32 inches wide. Measure your alcove and note which side the drain is on, since tubs come in left- or right-hand drain versions.
Tub Materials
Acrylic is lightweight, warm to the touch, and easy to repair. Fiberglass is affordable but less durable. Enameled steel is sturdy but can feel cold and chip. Cast iron is very durable but heavy.
Wall Surrounds
Solid-surface or acrylic wall panels reduce grout lines and are easy to clean. Tile looks custom but needs sealing and more upkeep.
Valves and Trim
Pressure-balancing and thermostatic valves help prevent sudden temperature changes. Make sure trim kits match your valve brand and model.
Safety Features
Slip-resistant tub floors, grab bars anchored into studs, and a handheld shower make bathing safer, especially for children and older adults.
Installation
Replacing a tub usually involves removing wall material and reconnecting the drain and overflow. Hire an experienced plumber or contractor.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Do not order the wrong drain side. Avoid DIY plumbing beyond your skill level, and measure carefully before buying a shower tub combo.
Budget Planning
Include the tub, wall surround, valve, trim, drain kit, and labor in your budget. Unexpected repairs behind old walls are common in remodels.
Choosing Between Kits
All-in-one kits simplify planning, while separate pieces let you mix brands and styles.
Final Verdict on the Best Shower Tub Combo
The WOODBRIDGE direct-to-stud kit is the best shower tub combo for full remodels, while the Delta Arvo 14 Series is the best choice for fixture upgrades.
